introduction

Trentt produces internet applications ranging from CME e-learning websites to web enabled content on CD-Roms or DVDs. Trentt consists of a team of highly skilled professionals with a broad spectrum of knowledge of information technology and its applications.

digital video library

Many societies have educational video material which is of great interest for their members. The Digital Video Library (DVL) provides easy access to this video material. The system consists of computers in which the video information is digitally stored. A graphical user interface allows users to search for keywords or authors, select and watch the video's of their choice.

The DVL can be installed in tailor made congress stands or integrated in existing congress sites. Support is provided by skilled hostesses and a technical staff. The computers containing the video material are equipped with two high quality 19" flat panel monitors. In case of several people viewing the material, the computers can be equipped with big plasma or lcd screens.
Sound is provided by cordless headsets. The amount of headsets per computer is unlimited. Users who would like to own certain video's can place an order using an ingenious ordering system, integrated in the DVL. The ordered selection is then placed on a personalized DVD. This DVD can be viewed on computers and DVD players. Headset and queue management are all automated via a web based system.
  • The DVL is scalable from one to several tens of systems
  • The DVL can store more than 150 hours of video material
  • The content can be adapted to serve as streaming media on the internet
  • The user interface and design of the DVD's can use specific branding of sponsor and organization
  • Integration of other applications such as third party DVD's is possible
  • A connection to third party member or customer relation management systems can be implemented to retrieve user data for more personal DVD's and statistics
The DVL is the best solution for providing absolute instant access to video related material.

web applications

Trentt develops internet applications ranging from advanced websites to web casts.
A selection of our work can be found in the showreel section.

web casting

Integrated Media Streaming (web casting) combines broadcasting audio, video and PowerPoint sheets via internet so that interested people can easily review a symposium. Figure 1 presents two examples of integrated media streams. Each window contains video, a magnified sheet and a clickable list of sheets. Viewers can select an interesting passage by clicking a certain sheet from the list. After this, the video jumps automatically to that point of the session.

e-learning tools

On line courses and e-learning tools give people the opportunity to broaden their knowledge trough the internet. Trentt develops on line courses using a combination of different techniques: clear animations, videos showing techniques, spoken text and interactive CME enabled questions. If possible a discussion forum can be implemented to facilitate communication between users.

cd-rom & dvd

When easy access to (on line) resources is needed, CD-Rom or DVDs are an attractive option. Trentt creates custom interactive multimedia that brings your message to life. We design smooth, user friendly interfaces for selecting and displaying information like text, video, audio or animations.
